When Michelle reached out to me to do her branding photos for her nature photography business, I was thrilled!
I had met Michelle inside our Empowered for Profit Collective. She had been wanting to take her business to the next level, especially with submitting her work to local galleries.
While going over what she needed & wanted out of her branding session, she had mentioned that she loved hiking the trails in Boone, NC.
It was a place that her & her husband frequented, and a place where she felt truly at home. So that’s where we went.
I headed up to the little mountain town of Boone, NC bright and early. Okay….well…..maybe not so bright & early. I was up before the crack of light.
And as I started up the to the Blue Ridge Parkway, our first destination, I was immediately greeted by fog so thick so you cut through it with a knife. And then……..the rain started in.
It was only supposed to overcast, but the weather had other plans.
Since we had already arrived, we made the most of it! Michelle had told me she encounters this weather all the time when going hiking, and taking her photos. She didn’t mind it one bit.
Before we ended her branding experience we stopped into a coffee shop called, “The Local Lion” to grab some photos of her going through her images like she would before an exhibition. (On a side note, this coffee shop has the best hot chocolate!!)
Be sure to go check out Michelle’s business, Dalton Harris Photography to see her print work, and go to her Instagram to keep up with where she’ll be next!
