Hi! I'm Hope!

Today I am so excited to share with you a branding session I was apart of!!

When Besty reached out to me, she had a vision in mind of what she wanted her branding photos to be. She wanted them to be true to life, warm, inviting, & have a lifestyle vibe to them.

Since that’s exactly what I do I was so honored that she had thought of me to capture these images for her business.

So what exactly is Ruby Thread Good?

Ruby Thread Good is for the intermediate to advanced sewist who enjoys machine applique, appreciates design, and home décor.

Betsy, the owner, provides DIY sewing kits & patterns to make your own one of kind pillows for your home, and she will be selling wool felt applique pillows.

As you can see in the images below these pillows are beautiful, and add such a warm, inviting touch to any space.

Who’s Behind The Brand?

Her name is Betsy Fraser.

She has a loving husband, a son who is a freshman at App State, and the sweetest little rescue named Banjo. (Banjo is the friendliest fur baby)

She grew up in Winston-Salem, but ventured out of NC, and spent 20 years residing in NYC. In 2004 she moved back to WS. Once her son moved out to college, she wanted something meaningful to fill her time.

But let’s step back for just a minute, let’s go back to where this all began. Where the love for the this craft started. Betsy’s mother, Ruby.

Ruby was the one who taught her how to sew. For her sewing wasn’t only a way of life, but rather an art form, & a therapy too.

I remember a story Betsy told me, while we were working, of how they would comb through catalogs & magazines to see what kind of dress she wanted or liked. Then they would then make it.

Now, Betsy is taking that love her mother instilled in her for sewing, & combining it with her years as a graphic designer to create something so unique to share.

She wants people to be able to connect people to their homes. Those safe spaces we all love & run to for comfort.

In her own words Betsy said, “There is a story/meaning behind everything I make and I want people to feel cared for and delighted by my product.”
