Hi! I'm Hope!

When you think of Valentine’s Day Date Night you are probably thinking about the guy & girl go to a fancy restaurant, dressed up to the nines, valet parking, him in a tux, etc. etc. Or you think of just a nice dinner & movie situation. Am I right?

How about we take those ideas & spin them on their heads, by sparking some new ideas!

Date Night Ideas

Top Golf – I love that you can play golf without actually having to be great at it on a rooftop of a high rise building. You get the views, have some drinks & snacks, & this is the perfect opportunity for him to “teach you” how to play golf. A little snuggle action.

Projector Movie Night – Okay so yes, this is a movie night idea, but what if we added some twinkle lights, & a white sheet for a screen with a projector playing the movie of the night. Now there’s a few different ways you can do this. You can add tons of blankets and comforters to the back of a pick-up, & have a movie night outside. You can set this up in your living room, or on the patio around a fire pit. Build a tent out of sheets & project your movie on the wall. Use your imagination on this one. 😉

Picnic at Sunset – If you are somewhere where it’s warm, this would be a beautiful idea. Pack your favorite blankets, & a picnic basket full of your favorite snacks or dinner spread. Choose a location where the sunset will be on full display, & enjoy a beautiful date night.

Candle Light Game Night – If you are the kind of couple that loves games, this might be perfect for you. Make it a little more romantic by having only the candles lit, and maybe a bottle of your favorite wine while you play games.

Ceramics Night – Take a ceramics class together if you both are the artsy kind. Even if you both discover you aren’t very good at it, you can have some laughs, and have the famous Ghost moment together. 😉

Cooking Class – I know there are places that host a special couples cooking classes around this time of the year. Look around & see if you can find one near you. You’ll get to try out some new recipes in the end.

Camping/Star Gazing – This one is definitely for the adventurous couple, but I think this is such a sweet idea. To go somewhere where there is no light pollution, and spend all night dreaming, talking, cuddling, & gazing at the stars.

Art Museum – If you both love art this is the perfect match for you. Spend an evening discussing different works of art & the artist, & connecting with each other over something you both have a passion & love for.

Ice Skating – Okay so this one is a cliché too, but I think it’s a sweet date night. Especially if one of you can skate. You can hold on to them as they teach you & spend an evening learning something new.

Breakfast in Bed – Who said these all have to happen at night? You can do more than one of these on Valentine’s Day. There are no set rules. This is really great for couples in which quality time and acts of service are their love languages. This will really speak to their hearts.

I really hope you enjoyed this blog post & that it sparked some new ideas for you for this Valentine’s Day!
