Gift Ideas for Valentines Day
Gift for Valentines Day can be really tricky. It feels like we just had Christmas, and maybe you’ve already gotten your loved ones everything they could ever need. But your love language is gift giving & you want something thoughtful.
Well, it’s a good thing I have so many ideas for you! I have them sorted into three categories: Gifts for Her, Him, & Gals (Galentines Day).
Gifts for Her
Wireless Typewriter Keyboard – Perfect for the lady in your life that is a business owner, works from home with her corporate company, or just loves the aesthetic of it all! And they come in a variety of different colors!
WoodWick Candles – These are the candles that I prefer above any else! The smell isn’t overpowering like the Bath & Body Works candles are. Those are a little too strong & give me a headache.
Customized Tumblrs – These are such a sweet gift to give, especially if it’s decked out with her favorite colors or a show or character that she really loves.
Perfume – If there is a scent that she really loves or a brand she’s been wanting to have for a while, this would be the perfect time to buy it.
Journals – This is my love language right here. I love having several journals where I can write down my thoughts, my feelings, ideas, prayers, business goals, etc. I’m still old school & love writing things down to free up my mental space.
Gifts For Him
Custom Beard Oils & Creams – If there is one thing I’ve learned, men with beards love to take special care of their beards, & won’t just use any old product. So make sure you pay attention to what he loves to use and then work with a small company to create a custom kit for him. I have actually done this before. I worked with a small business to create a kit of creams & beard oils with his favorite scent. (I would link the company I’ve used but unfortunately they don’t have a working website.)
Funny Graphic Tee’s – He will definitely love these Tee Spring tee’s that I’ve linked, because you can make your own customized shirt for him, or order one from one of the hundred’s of creators on this platform.
Colorful Funky Socks – I don’t know what it is, but every man I know just has to have these funky colored/patterned socks. Especially when I go to photograph a wedding, there is, typically, not one guy that doesn’t wear some kind of colorful, patterned sock.
Cologne – Their favorite cologne or a brand name they’ve always wanted to have, but just haven’t splurged on yet.
Watch – This one solely depends on your budget & his tastes, but a watch is something I know a lot of men still love wearing as an accessory. It can bring a suit look together and make it look so smart.
Gifts for Your Gals
Books – If you have a friend who is a reader, gifting them a new book especially a book in a genre they love will be such a thoughtful gift to them. Just click the link to see a few of my Amazon recommendations.
Magnetic Bookmarks – This one goes perfectly with the last one! My friend actually gifted me a huge set for my birthday, and they have little plants on them! (I have so many house plants & just love plants so that’s why she chose those.) It just adds that personal touch.
Gift Basket – Filled with their favorite chocolates, a mini bottle of wine, nail polish, lip gloss/balm, a gift card to their favorite place, candle, etc. Use your imagination, but this doesn’t have to be expensive either. Just something to say I love you and thank you for being a friend.
Coffee Mug/Tea Mug & Favorite Coffee/Tea – I may be a little biased here too but I also love this gift & would treasure this if my friends bought me my favorite tea, & a unique tea mug to drink out of. Etsy has some of the best & rarest finds when it comes to things like this. (Check out this Bridgerton one I found.)
Favorite Baked Goodies – This is such a sweet & thoughtful idea. Make your friends their favorite baked goodies, & just have a girls movie night! 🙂
