Meagan & Luke’s River Creek Lodge summer wedding was such a fun time! I’ve known Meagan & Luke for roughly 2-3 years now. The first time I ever met them was during a round of sunflower mini-sessions, & they were just so sweet & welcoming! So of course when I got the message that they wanted me to photograph their wedding I was so excited & ready!! (Can I just make a side note here, because I love my clients, because it literally just feels like I’m going to see an old friend by the time the wedding day arrives.)

So as I arrived to the getting ready suite I was met with open arms, Meagan yelling, “hey girl!!”, and big hugs all around!

One of the best parts of this River Creek Lodge summer wedding day was just how laid back & intimate it was. There were so many little details from mom’s ring being woven into the bouquet, to her mom stitching her hand writing into her wedding dress(you’ll just have to see down below!), & even her dad’s tie had a special message on the inside.

But I have to say my favorite moment to relive again were the flower dudes! Yes, they had flower dudes just like the videos you’ve seen on TikTok! This was a secret they had kept from Luke, so imagine his surprise to see his friends & brother parading down the asile after the flower girls! This got everyone laughing, & smiling!
