Your wedding day is a major milestone in your life, & that’s why I’m going to help you choose your perfect wedding venue. There are a few things to consider while you are planning where your perfect wedding venue will be.
Decide on how big your wedding is: Different wedding venues accomidate different size wedding parties. The size ranges from big, small/medium, & micro. Here are a few examples of each othese venues.
Big Weddings (100-120 guests or more)
Luna Trail Farm
Small/Medium Weddings (70-100 guests)
Micro Weddings (20 guests or less)
The McCallister Leftwhich House
The Barn At Reynolda Village (They have a special micro-wedding package available)
Decide on your budget: This is probably the most important when choosing your perfect wedding venue, because it can determine what size of wedding you have. **Special Note: Don’t base your decision on anyone else, or try to go into debt for your wedding day. Let your wedding day be fun, & stress free.
Decide on your theme/color scheme: Some people love to do a theme or color scheme for their wedding, & some venues specifically accomidate that.
If you want a super elegant & chic affair that would accomdiate any color scheme I would suggest: The Ivy Rose Barn (You can see more of the barn on their Instagram: @theivyrosebarn )
If you want a country chic theme, I would suggest: The Barn at Hertiage Farms
If you want an old world, Victorian Era, or timeless vibe, I would suggest: The Carolina Inn or The Graylyn Estate
Is photography your main priority?: For some, photography is the main priority so they choose their perfect wedding venue based off of that. Here are a few venues that are photography friendly from the getting ready rooms to the outside ceremony & reception spaces:
I really hope this blog was helpful in helping you decide on your own perfect wedding venue.
