Pilot Mountain NC Engagement Session
I’m so thrilled & honored to be able to photograph Keri & Rod’s engagement session & wedding in Pilot Mountain, NC.
I had first met Keri through a sweet wedding planner friendof mine, Greta of Dogwood Wedding Group LLC., & we set up a time to chat.
Well, not only did we end up talking about her wedding day plans, but we ended up chatting away about a variety of topics.
The one thing that really stood out was the way she talked about meeting Rod for the very first time.
Their Story
Keri & Rod, met around 5 years ago in November, the day after Keri’s birthday.
She was having a night out when she bumped right into him.
He had found out her birthday was a couple days prior, & bought her a birthday drink. By the end of the night, she was asking for his number!
She admitted that, “I had never done that before!”
A couple days later they had their first date at a nice steakhouse in Raleight, and as Keri puts it, the rest is history.
The Proposal
Rod had decided to propose at the same steakhouse where they had their very first date together.
Pop that champagne & cue the confetti!!
Session at Pilot Mountain, NC
I was so excited to finally get to meet Keri & Rod in person! Up to this point I had only ever met Keri during our ZOOM consultation.
They wanted Pilot Mountain to be a staple in these images, because Rod’s family lives here in Pilot. It’s also the reason they wanted to have their wedding at a local vineyard.

Keri & Rod, you both are such a giving, & lovely couple. I’m so honored to be apart of this experience with you! We are going to have an absolute blast on your wedding day!!
