Hi! I'm Hope!

My friend Tiffany, of Humble Jade Co. had a specific vision for this downtown Greensboro styled elopement. That vision: To break down the industry standards for weddings.

To showcase how fun & intimate your real wedding can be. That you don’t always have to go with the trends to have a beautiful, meaningful wedding.

Naturally, downtown Greensboro was the perfect place for this elopement shoot. There is so much old world charm, meets new, and modern, that it creates this unique & interesting backdrop! You’ll see that mixing of the old & the new within each one of the brides outfits to. Southern Bride is just the best when it comes to having so many different styles on hand.

Our Shoot & Wonderful Vendors

We decided to start our shoot at the beautiful Carolina Theatre.  We wanted to showcase the wedding jumpsuit to mix with the old charm of the theatre. As you’ll see, the jumpsuit does have a beautiful tulle train attached to it, as it’s playing with elements of modern meets traditional. It’s such a fun outfit to play with & is perfect for brides who want to mix the two worlds together. As the evening went on we continued to photograph our way through downtown Greensboro, & ended our shoot on the rooftop of the Bellemeade Parking Deck. This parking deck provides the most breathtaking view of the skyline & sunset! Holy moly!!

Kaitlyn Elizabeth Styling & her team did an amazing job with our models hair. The cascading, loose braid is so fun, boho, & whimsical. You’ll see how well this hair transitions from this laid back wedding outfit, to a more traditional sleek wedding dress.

The florals that were provided by Brushed by Bec Florals were just stunning!!! I love how she plays with these soft neutral colors, and mixes a little traditional with the non-traditional. You’ll see this with the boutonniere too.

The Kendra Scott jewelry that we had for this shoot was beautiful!! I love the minimal designs of the rings, earrings, and necklaces. Perfect for any brides wedding day without overwhelming your dress/jumpsuit.

I hope that you found some inspiration for your own elopement & be sure to check out the amazing group of vendors listed below.
