My friend Morgan & I had spoken about doing a branding session for her new online boutique, Ivy Lou & Co. I have only ever done one other branding session before, but I wanted to work with her on this because I just adore this boutique! I love all the unique tops, comfy-cozy wear, custom t-shirts, and I love supporting my fellow female entreprenuers.
She started this online boutique with the belief that you don’t have to sacrifice comfort, & style while on a budget. And she really knows how to style an outfit, let me tell you. She did all the styling on the set of this session.
Her boutiques style is a mix between country and boho chic so we wanted to find a place that really represented the style & asthetic. It’s important to note is, since she does run an online boutique, not a traditional brick and morter store, it’s really important that the images stand out, and reflect the clothes she sales in a beautiful, and realistic manner.
So we decided to do the session at her grandpa’s 200 year old house just outside of Mount Airy. We had access to wide open fields, a beautiful old porch with stone steps, etc. The house not only has so much history, but has this unique charm to it. It was the perfect place to showcase the various different clothing & jewlery pieces.
Also, if you’re new here, this is actually the house I shot her small wedding at.
I really hope that you enjoy this branding session of Ivy Lou & Co. Don’t forget to go check out the website, and find some cute pieces for the fall season!
