Lake Junaluska, North Carolina is an absolute dream during the leaf peeping season.
This place holds a lot of special memories for Elise & Ethan.
You may remember them from this blog post, Mount Airy Engagement Session. If you haven’t seen that one, go check that one out.
You’ll want to read all about their story, and how getting eloped here, is a full circle moment.
As I walked into the brides getting room, I was immediately greeted by music. Music from the ‘Midnights (3am version)’ album by Taylor Swift.
We’re both Swifties, so we started chatting about how much we love her songs, about her & Joe, etc. It was a great way to start out our time together!
Elise was all smiles, and brimming with excitement. As was her family.
The overall mood from both parties was excitement, and it ended up being the perfect fall day.
70 degrees, bright & sunny, the leaves painting the backdrop of the ceremony space in brilliant shades of orange, yellow, and rust.
This lake will be a place that both Elise & Ethan will cherish for years to come.
Special memories from her youth, Ethan’s proposal, and now the place where they became one.
Elise, Ethan, I wish you both nothing, but joy & happiness in the years to come.
