While you are in the midst of wedding planning, don’t neglect date night with your person.

I know the wedding planning is stressful, but remember……………your wedding is only for 1 day. After the wedding is when your life as one begins, so make sure you keep that in the forefront of your mind.

You’ll find below some fun date night options listed out for each season!

Fall Date Night Ideas

Pumpkin Patch Date
Getting lost in a corn maze
Trying out all the festival foods
Baking homemade fall treats like pumpkin bread, pumpkin cheesecake muffins, pumpkin pie, apple pie, etc.
Get fall photos made then go out on the town!
Cozy up by the fire pit with hot fresh apple cider
Making S’mores by the fire pit
Grab a blanket & have a spooky movie marathon (make sure you hold each other right through the scary parts 😉 )
Take a hayride
Go to an apple orchard
Ride up on the Blue Ridge Parkway, & have a picnic while admiring the fall foliage (Don’t forget to take a Polaroid or Instax with you!)
Go on a haunted tour
Visit a scary house
Book exchange! Try reading a book your person loves! (You may find something else you like!)
Not a fan of spooky movies? Have an old Hollywood movie marathon! Grab your blanket, favorite snacks, & a drink!
Light candles & have a card or board game night!
Visit a farmers market
Have a paint & sip night

Winter Date Night Ideas

Bundle up for a winter carnival
Watch a hockey game together
Get tickets to see Trans Siberian Orchestra
Get tickets for a film concert series (my personal favorite will always be Home Alone)
Go ice skating
Take a ski/snowboarding trip to the mountains
Book a weekend or a week’s stay in the mountains amongst the snow & cuddle by the fireplace
Bundle up, grab hot coco, get your telescope, and star gaze
Make homemade coco, and snuggle in for a holiday movie marathon (new movies, classics, or a combo of the two)
Have a gingerbread house competition
Decorating the house for Christmas (put Christmas music on/a holiday movie, fix hot coco, and decorate!)
Host a couples game night by candlelight
Do an escape room
Cook a homemade meal together

Spring Date Night Ideas

Have a photoshoot in the poppy fields
Visit the farmers market
First picnic with the warmer weather
Go for a bike ride to admire the new blooms
Visit the zoo
Have a photoshoot among the cherry blossoms
