Destination wedding & portrait photographer fascinated by stories & people. This blog is the home for some of my favorite things — from weddings, engagement sessions, branding & more personal things.

Grab your favorite cup of hot tea(or coffee), and stay a while.

Hi! I'm Hope!

I cannot believe we are here at the end of the year already. I feel like this has been the fastest, & yet slowest year…….not really sure how that’s possible, but that’s how it’s felt. As we close out this year I just really wanted to take a moment to really appreciate every single Hope Ann Photos family member. (Because that’s basically what we are)

I’ve been able to capture engagements, anniversaries, branding sessions, head shots, etc. (Don’t worry weddings will have their own blog post coming!)

I hope you enjoy looking at these images just as much as I do.

This one actually makes me tear up just a little. This one was on our beloved Pilot Mountain earlier this year. (If you didn’t know Pilot Mountain State Park had caught fire & a total of over 800 acres had burned.)
I love it when my clients include their pets in their sessions. 🙂 This was the cutest summer anniversary session. I love going to The Little Chapel NC to do portrait sessions!

This looks like a dreamy shoot right out of one of my favorite romance books. *insert heart eyes here* I just love maternity sessions! ^_^ Dogwood Farms is my favorite place to go for these sunflower sessions. There are so many fields full of sunflowers & wildflowers too! I still cannot believe this little wildflower patch was just one the side of the road. It made for such a beautiful setting for this cute session.  This is Matthew, one of the owners of Valley Brook Farm (the other owner being his beautiful & sweet wife). Matthew decided to pursue his Real Estate license & needed some head shots for his website & business cards. This was so fun. I don’t normally do a lot of headshots, or branding sessions, but it was fun stepping outside my comfort zone! If you’re in need of a realtor definitely look him up! Rogers Realty-Matthew Riggens. My friend Morgan started her own country chic boutique business this year called Ivy Lou & Co. so we did some head shots & photographed her fall collection that was coming out. I love sweet moments like this. Just tangled up in each other. *Ugggghhh* I just love it! I don’t think I’ve ever had such a perfect family shot like this one. I made the weirdest noise ever to get it but it worked! haha.

I cannot wait to see what 2022 has in store, and I cannot wait to share more stories.
