Fortunately for me, I live at the foothills of the mountains, and only 20-30 minutes away from the Blueridge Parkway. So during the fall time you can get the most beautiful portraits of the leaves changing colors, and the sun setting behind them. The orange leaves look like they are on fire when the sun sets. It’s so beautiful.
I had first went to the Blueridge Parkway after I had a long day at work, and I wanted to just relax. So I escaped up to Virginia for just a little bit, and it was the best decision.
Then on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I photographed around my house. I am so blessed to live where I do.
Look at how beautiful these colors are at their peak. God is an amazing artist, and gives us such beautiful things to look at in every season.
Yet another reason for me to love fall is the fashion. Give me a sweater, leggings, and combat boots, and I have everything I need. Of course this is also my attire in the winter as well. 🙂
I couldn’t help myself, the leaves were just so beautiful I couldn’t stop taking images. I just had idea, after idea, after idea, hit me. I love those creative moments where it all just seems to flow seamlessly together.
This little monkey down below, my baby Rascal has gotten camera shy all of a sudden. I tried to get him to take a photograph with me, but then he started running away, so I started sneaking around to see if I could catch him.
How have you taken advantage of this fall season? Have you went to a pumpkin patch, or spent more time with your loved ones? I love it when fall rolls around, so I can spend a little more time with family, and friends, and catching up.
Stay beautiful!
Love,
