I love everything about Julia’s style, and especially those boots (As you know I am a sucker for all things boots). Julia is a high school senior with big dreams, as in New York City sized big dreams. We had a nice conversation about New York, and what it would be like to live there, and the reality shows about New York we have seen. She’s had a lot of stress with taking exams, and doing SAT’s, so I was thrilled to have a chance to provide her with some stress relief for the afternoon.
We had so much fun circling the downtown area of Mount Airy, talking as we walked, and taking images along the way.
The old rundown Spencer’s building sets an amazing backdrop for these images with it’s bright, and yet faded out blue color.
I adored all of her jewelry she had on! The gold just looked so lovely with her outfits. Her bracelet has Taurus written on it along with the image of her sign.
During the course of these two images, I kept trying to take these daises home with me. They were just so beautiful! (Of course I wouldn’t do that, but it was so tempting).
Fairy lights are my favorite things to take images in front of, I love the way they fade out in the background creating a soft glow. And the main streets are nearly empty as it starts nearing dark, so as we crossed the road I snapped this image of her. I had already had the idea, and knew exactly how I wanted to look before we did anything. Our downtown area is so beautiful, and so it makes the perfect backdrop.
When she brought out this dress, I was so happy! I love everything about it from the flare at the end to the color.
I always have so much fun when I work with my seniors. They are so fun, bright, and have amazingly big dreams. Congratulations to Julia class of 2016. You are going to go far little lady.
Stay beautiful!
