The week had started out bright, & warm, but as the weekend drew closer, the forecast grew dreary. It seemed that we would have to reschedule Morgan’s engagement session once again to avoid a dark, stormy day in Pilot Mountain. But, on Friday evening, as I looked at the forecast, it started to change in our favor.

As I stepped out onto my front porch, & prepared to head out for Morgan’s engagement session a cold, gust of wind hit me, sending me back inside to grab my mustard colored cardigan. It had turned out to be a beautiful day, but so cold! I packed my gear into my little silver SUV, and headed to Pilot to meet Morgan & her fiance Hayden.

I had them pile into my car to ride with me to a little hidden spot out in the country. As we drove, we talked about photos, & just life in general.

I remember Morgan telling me how her & Hayden first met.

She walked into a little cafe for breakfast one morning, & she caught Hayden’s eye. He got up to leave, and not long after he left, he messaged her asking her if she wanted to hang out with him. And the rest, as they say, is history. 🙂

They cracked inside jokes at each other the whole time, and at me too. 🙂 You can tell that these two are more than just a couple, they’re best friends. And I love that!

Morgan & Hayden, I’m so honored to be your wedding photographer, and I cannot wait to celebrate along side you. You both truly deserve a lifetime of happiness.
