Hi! I'm Hope!

I was so excited to photograph this engagement session for Brianna & Bradley at The Manor House, at Tanglewood. I first met Brianna when she moved here from Florida, and had started training with me at Chick-fil-a.  Of course she was already a natural, since her dad is an Operator at one of the Chick-fil-a’s in Florida.  It was a “pleasure” getting to know her heart. We have since worked together to create her senior session, and now she’s getting married!! *Cue the heart eyes!*

As we sat down at her consultation she told me how they first met.

She met Bradley 1 year, and 5 months ago. She had joined Match, and shortly after Bradley DM’ed her on Instagram, and had told her he couldn’t pass the opportunity up to meet her. She wasn’t really sure about him at first, but she agreed to meet him at Pages Books & Coffee. It may have started out as awkward conversation over coffee, but that first date lasted until 1:00a.m.! Whhooa!

At the time though, they didn’t really live close so they made the most of every date (Now they live in the same city. Which makes going on dates A LOT easier!). When they went on a second date, it lasted for 6 hours! Finally, 2 weeks later, he asked her to be his girlfriend while they were sharing an ENO hammock at Hanging Rock State Park. (How sweet is that?!?)

They both share a natural love of the outdoors. They love to hike, and fish. They have this special fishing spot in Warm Springs, Virginia. It’s now a little extra special since that’s where he decided to propose over the summer!! Eeeekk!

He proposed in August, and  they have already chosen a private venue to have their intimate November wedding. She even picked her wedding dress within 1 hour of trying dresses on. 1 hour! She said she put it on, and immediately knew, it was the one. Since the wedding will be with only close friends & family, she has chosen not to label any of her bridesmaids. She didn’t want there to be any sort of division among anyone, and I think that is amazing. To me that speaks about her heart so much! All my LHP brides are so joyful, kind and giving. It makes my heart happy.

Brianna, I’m so thankful to have you as apart of this LHP family of brides. I’m so excited that you have chosen me to share in your special day, and I cannot wait for November!

Love,

Hope*
