I am so excited to be back to blogging. After all the technology issues, bug fixes, etc., it’s just nice to be back behind my computer constructing this blog post. I love looking at style inspiration posts, and videos on YouTube so I wanted to start doing something like that for my clients. I know it’s tricky to pick out clothing for your sessions, but I hope this gives you some inspiration for your next shoot, or just inspiration in general. I will leave links to a few of these style finds at the bottom of this post.
Enjoy!
Do not be fooled by this ‘Cold Shoulder Sweater’, the material is pretty thick so it’s going to keep you cozy. I paired this sweater with my fleece lined black leggings, and long grey boot socks. Of course being 5’2″ these, ‘one size fits most’ socks actually come up to my inner thighs, so I had to roll them down at least once.
This army green sweater is my new favorite! Not only does it keep me cozy, it’s over sized, and long enough to pair with my leggings. It does have a slit up the side, but it doesn’t go too far up. For my personal style, and because it was quite long, I rolled the ends of my sleeves up just a little.
Of course it just wouldn’t be a lookbook without my trademark Combat Boots. I wear these boots almost every single day. They are so warm, and comfortable.
Becky’s outfit was one of my favorites! I love the leather jacket paired with the skater skirt, and beanie. Beanies are just a staple piece that I love having in the winter.
If I’m going out at night, and my hair doesn’t look that great I will just throw my trusty black beanie on, and head out the door. It’s quick, easy, and super cute.
P.S.– Becky’s hair always looks good! She’s a hairstylist. 🙂
