Hi! I'm Hope!

Having a creative block can be really hard, especially when you have deadlines to meet, depending on what kind of creative industry you are in. This list is a little bit different than the ‘inspiration’ list. Having a block in creativity can be caused by all sorts of problems, but we won’t get into that today. Instead, I’ll give you 3 of my suggestions for getting over this block.

1. Listen to Music.

–Of course as I have shared before anytime I get a block or need inspiration I just go to “I See Fire” by Ed Sheeran, or I put my worship music on.

2. Stop, and Drop It All.

–Trying to force creativity, or at least for me, gets me so frustrated. There are just times I have to go outside, workout, read my Bible, or focus on something else.  lightandhopephotography

3. Taking A Short Nap.

–This one may be silly, but you could be just exhausted. Sometimes just getting up, and going right to work uses up all our creative energy. Take 20 minutes to rest. You honestly wouldn’t believe how good you feel.

I hope these few short tips will help you get over your creative block. Do you have a few tips that you can add to this list??

Until next week………..

Love,

Hope
