Today I want to share with you, why I think starting your business while you are young is a fantastic idea.

If you are blessed enough to figure out what your passion is, and want to go for it while you are still in school, or just graduated, or even in your late twenties, then I want to say, ‘Kudos to you!’. Some people will go most of their life not knowing what they are really good at, or just have to get a job to make rent, and pay the bills.

At this time in my life, I’m not in a relationship, and I don’t have children so this is the prime time for me(personally) to start a full time business. Honestly, that is the best time to start a business, when you are experiencing more free time than most. So if you are single right now, enjoy this season, and get creative with the time you have. You will never have this free moment again.

You don’t know if you’ll have tomorrow, tonight, or even this second, so spend it doing something that will benefit the community, and your overall well being. Running a business is stressful though, having to worry about taxes, studio rent, equipment repair, or whatever your expenses may be. But that is just small compared to the real impact your business can have.

Down below are my top 3 reasons why starting a business while your young is a great idea:

1. Congratulations! You already have a career.

— You may have to work extra hard at this, but you will already have not just a career, but a job that you love so much, that you don’t mind getting up at the crack of dawn to get started.

2. More Time To Have A Passionate Career.

— If you are single, this is your time to really get out there, and go for your dreams. You don’t have a lot of things to tie you down, or hold you back.  If you are in a relationship with no kids, hopefully that person is being supportive of your passions, and understands why you are spending a lot of time building this dream.

3. The Chance To Create Something That’s Bigger Than Yourself

— This is your chance to really make a positive impact in someone’s life, no matter what business you are starting up. If you try to make your business all about you, you will fail, and fall pretty fast. Focus on what you can do for others.
