In addition to being a senior photographer, I do a lot of personal image work. For one, it helps my image quality, and secondly it allows me to be creative with the outfits I choose. So, I thought I would start this series on my blog called, “Style”.

Today’s style guide is all about styling your maxi skirts. I have picked 3 simple ways to make the most of your maxi skirts + I have a video for you at the end of the blog post.

This is the most common way to wear a maxi skirt, and that is simply to wear a cami with it. It’s very comfortable in the summer plus you can dress it up with a long chained necklace, and have a fun boho look. If you  really want to make this look boho chic add a beautiful headband to accessorize.

Throw a jean jacket on for a casual date night look, and accessorize.

You don’t have to give up your maxi skirts during the fall time. Add a sweater to create the “coming un-tucked” look. It’s perfect for those fall days where it’s cooler in the morning, and evening, and warmer during the mid-day.

This is my favorite mid-length sleeve sweater. Perfect for fall. I accessorized it with this beautiful gold fox necklace from a local boutique, called, “The Dragonfly”.
