Hi! I'm Hope!

Here recently my family and I had the privilege of taking off from work for a week, and just enjoy life. We went to the Biltmore House, and Boone. Then we just kicked it here for the 4th of July, and relaxed the weekend away.

Light & Hope Photography Could you imagine living in this house??? You would literally have to have guests staying over every weekend, just so you wouldn’t have to stay here by yourself.

Also, do you guys recognize this view from the movie Richie Rich?? I totally remember that movie, so when I saw the stairs leading up to this balcony area I had to go up, and grab this photograph.

Light & Hope Photography The details on this house, and inside this house are quite amazing. It’s just really hard to imagine people actually living here. It would be like living in a wonderful dream.  Light & Hope Photography Look at this amazing view from just one of the balconies.Yep, you heard right, just one of the balconies. Wouldn’t this look just beautiful in the winter time? To see this little valley all covered in snow, with the snow capped mountains in the background.

Light & Hope Photography The gardens were absolutely amazing, and beautiful. I would recommend going when spring begins so you can see most of the flowers, and trees in bloom.

It almost reminds me of the gardens in the story ‘Alice in Wonderland’.
Light & Hope Photography These big guys kept swimming up the rim of the pool because they thought we had food for them. I thought some of them were Koi fish, but it turns out they were Japanese Cat Fish. They had so many beautiful colors to them, and they even have an albino cat fish.  Light & Hope Photography As you can imagine when you go to the Biltmore House in the summer, it gets really, really hot. So make sure you grab some water, and some food to keep you hydrated, and your energy up. And always take your time, don’t rush through it.  Light & Hope Photography Light & Hope Photography Light & Hope Photography Light & Hope Photography

Boone was such a cute little town to visit, and so nice, and refreshingly cool to be summer time. One morning we woke up, and it was 57-60 degrees! It felt more like a fall morning than late June. However, when we went on top of the mountain there really wasn’t a breeze blowing, so it was super hot during the middle of the day. Towards the end of our visit on top of the mountain a cool breeze started blowing, making the walk a little more bearable.  Light & Hope Photography There is such an amazing view from on top of Blowing Rock.  Light & Hope Photography This house is beautiful.
